Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.
Nine people were injured while residents in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and faced problems to water supplies, per reports from municipal leaders.
Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to regional authorities.
Moscow has increased assaults on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while officials has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to increase pressure on Moscow.
"The necessity is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in delivering protection systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.
Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets targeted the country's power systems, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.
The energy minister said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were striving to restore power.
A series of attacks damaged electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.
Multiple people wounded in the attacks on the city have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.
Local officials said the urban area came under intense attacks during nighttime hours. A young boy was killed and three other people were hurt.
